Life School

Life School, an associated program of Timberline Lodge (timberlinelodge.org), is an eight-week summer intensive program with an emphasis on missions and discipleship. Located two blocks off the coast of Santa Cruz, California, this area is incredibly beautiful but also ripe with ministry opportunities as it is one of the least churched areas of America, along with one of the highest homeless populations per capita.

Life School’s heart is to prepare the next doctor, teacher or lawyer to be on mission wherever God takes them in life. From hiking in the beauty of Yosemite National Park to surfing the coast of Santa Cruz, there are many opportunities for life-on-life discipleship and to have a great time in God’s creation. Life School also hosts short term mission trips called “Surf, Serve, and Share” providing youth groups and other church groups with a similar program in a shorter time.
