Torchbearers outdoor adventure programs are designed to challenge and develop you spiritually, mentally and physically.
This will be an intense journey with others in God’s creation where you will experience solid community, be fed by Christ-centered, practical Bible teaching and learn to apply your faith as it is worked out in different challenges and adventures.
Adventure Bible School
ABS (Adventure Bible School) is a six-week course run out of the Adventure Lodge just 30 minutes from Monavale, Capernwray New Zealand. This course gives students the opportunity to combine Bible teaching with physical and outdoor activities. Sea, sky, mountains, bush, and caves provide the setting for the classroom. Through challenging outdoor activities designed to stretch the student, ABS explores practical Christian living and how we relate to God, others and ourselves.
LEAD
LEAD operated out of Champfleuri in the French Alps near the city of Grenoble. During the three weeks, students will step out of their comfort zones and into experiences that will impact and transform them. Students will venture through a wide range of activities overcoming physical, cultural and spiritual challenges. The scenery and the food will be French. The Bible teaching and activities will be in English and French.
Ascent
Ascent is a Bible school where the lecture hall is God’s creation. It is a transforming learning experience that involves body soul and spirit. The Program is an international, English speaking adventure Bible school in Romania, in the Carpathian Mountains and the Transylvanian Hill country with its rural villages and medieval fortresses.
Upward Bound
The spectacular alpine environment in which Tauernhof is located enables them to offer this unique mountain experience. Its intensive schedule is designed to facilitate the deepening of a Christian’s faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ, biblical knowledge and application, promote biblical values, develop leadership potential, a sense of personal responsibility, and self-confidence, and encourage cooperative teamwork and appreciation for others.
