Official Scholarship Challenge Rules:
1. Scholarships can be used only at participating Torchbearers Bible Schools (TBS), as identified on the Scholarship Challenge registration page, subject to the availability of the maximum number of allotted Scholarship Challenge spaces at each individual participating TBS on a “first come, first served” basis. Participating TBS’s at which the Scholarships and Tuition Discounts can be redeemed can be obtained by contacting Torchbearers International on the email address shown below.
2. Scholarship Challenge prize values are estimates based on current tuition costs which may change without notice prior to redemption. The “Full Ride” (100%), “Half Ride” (50%) and “Quarter Ride” (25%) Scholarship Challenge prizes are intended to represent the portion of normal and customary admission and tuition costs charged by a participating TBS for a standard length two semester academic year. If a winner of one of the top three prizes chooses to attend a participating TBS for less than a full academic year, then the value of the subject prize shall be prorated for the actual length of the respective TBS term divided by a standard length two semester academic year.
3. Scholarship Challenge registrants must have attended one of the seven scheduled D2S “Blaze Tour” Conferences between November 2009 and March 2010 or URBANA 2009. Verification of attendance is required.
4. Participants must fully register via the Scholarship Challenge page on the Torchbearers International website (www.torchbearers.org) by March 31, 2010 to qualify for the drawing.
5. Prior to April 25, 2010, Registrants must provide in writing details of their Christian experience to qualify for entry in the drawing to receive one of the three top prize Scholarships. The written testimony should be emailed to connect@torchbearers.org.
6. Once selected at the Scholarship Challenge Prize drawing on April 30, 2010, a Registrant must complete the standard enrollment application of the respective participating TBS and meet all normal and customary application and admission requirements thereof.
7. The Scholarship Challenge top 3 prizes and the $250 Tuition Discounts must be used for attendance and completion of TBS before May 2012 (approximately 2 Years from the end of the 2009-2010 D2S Conference Tour, as applicable). If not used by that time, prizes and Tuition Discounts may expire.
8. Scholarship prize values are estimates only and may vary depending on the actual costs of tuition charged by the participating school chosen by the Scholarship Challenge winners. Scholarships apply to the costs for tuition, lodging and meals. Other incidental costs, including but not limited to travel to, from and during TBS, are the responsibility of the recipient. Scholarships cannot be redeemed for cash, if not used, and are non-transferrable.
9. Limit of 1 Scholarship or Tuition Discount per individual TBS application and enrollment. Scholarships and Tuition Discounts cannot be combined.
10. Scholarship Challenge rules, terms and conditions, including but not limited to the number of participating TBS’s and their admission requirements and tuition costs are subject to change at any time without notice. Information regarding changes and ammendments can be obtained by emailing connect@torchbearers.org.
